Sara Armet
Sales & Operations
After graduating from Syracuse University in 2010 with a B.F.A. in fashion design, Sara began working in retail sales at Barneys New York, Madison Avenue. Specializing in footwear, she built the foundation of the New York I currently know-- nurturing a discerning clientele, maintaining vendor contacts, and educating myself in the world of luxury. Three years into her work experience, she was recruited to work in the shoe salon at Bergdorf Goodman. A one-of-a-kind specialty retailer, Bergdorf Goodman stands alone -- the buying team present daily, their offices just across the street. She has been offered unique opportunities, such as partnering with designers for exclusive trunk shows in-store, attending countless market appointments, and traveling internationally to visit factories.
In more than one way, Sara has ran her own business within the shoe salon at Bergdorf Goodman for the past 3 years. As a destination, 40% of my clients are tourists which continually challenges her to think outside the box. Omni-channel retailing, being the greatest competitor to the brick and mortar store, Sara developed her own personal marketing and email blasts to keep up and engage my clients from afar. Sara is a sales guru, who has spearheaded million dollar sales for the designer shoe salon at Bergdorf Goodman and Barneys in NYC.
